Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and continues to be top on our list! Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, it is both safe and comfortable. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies as well as our Public Health Department to make sure that our infection control and social distancing protocols are current and we adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.
Changes you can expect when it is time for your appointment:
// At the top of our website you will see a ribbon titled “Patient Screening Form”
This form will be required to be completed before your appointment date. If you are unable to access it, these questions will be asked verbally.
// Upon arrival we have hand sanitizing stations located at each main entry. We ask that you sanitize upon entry.
// Once you check in at the front desk, you will be brought to a room where an assistant will have you complete another COVID screening, take your temperature and vitals as necessary.
// You will then be directed either to your treatment room or asked to wait in the waiting room or your vehicle until your room is ready. If you wait in your car, we will either call or text you when your room is ready.
// Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. Please be considerate of others and allow 6 feet between you and other patients. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you, every patient, and our employees safe in our practice.
